We also learn that Dumbledore tried to leave behind the Sword of Gryffindor for Harry, but because it was not Dumbeldore’s, he will not get it. We find out that the reason for the delay is because the Ministry was trying to discern if there were any dark objects among the artifacts. After isolating them, Dumbledore leaves behind the Deluminator for Ron, a creation of Dumbledores, the book The Tales of Beedle the Bard for Hermione, which we find out is a fairy tale book for Wizards, and then for Harry, the first Snitch he caught. A little later, more guests arrive, including Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour, who only arrives to read the Will of Dumbledore to Harry, Hermione and Ron. So far, Harry is not feeling confident about his fight with Voldemort. Harry then has a vision of Ginny in a wedding dress marrying some one else, and he figures that is her destiny, and his is with Voldemort. Ron cuts in and they head outside with Hermione, leaving Ginny behind, and Ron yells at Harry for doing that because Ginny was torn about the break up.
Ginny takes Harry away from everyone, and they share a kiss as her gift for him, which makes Harry remember his feelings for her. Harry later puts the Marauders Map, the shard from the mirror, and the locket in it. Hagrid gives him a mokeskin bag, which stores things that only the owner can retrieve. Weasley, which is apparently a coming of age gift for adulthood for wizards. Harry heads downstairs, and gets a few more presents, including a new sneakascope from Hermione, a watch from Mr. Weasley, or even one of the twins about women, and I think this is the way of learning, even though Hermione has tried to help them both. But what is interesting is it makes some sense because Harry and Ron never have guy talk, or talks with Mr.
#RUFUS SCRIMGEOUR HOW TO#
When I first read this, and even now, I see it a silly, yet “dues ex-machina” way of allowing Ron to know how to pursue Hermione. He doesn’t mention her name, but but we now see why Ron is acting differently around Hermione. Ron gives Harry the book Twelve Fail-Safe Ways to Charm Witches, which he claims is a brilliant book, and would have helped him break up with Lavender as well as pursue, well, Hermione, sooner. The first spell he uses is Accio to retrieve his glasses. Harry is now 17 years old, which means he can not cast magic freely, and without the trace. He thinks that he is taking away from her families biggest moments, and feels like he is a burden because he needs to be protected. Yes, he definitely is acting a little different around her.ģ. Why does Harry think he is inconveniencing Mrs. She knows they are planning on a mission and she is trying to keep them from leaving.Ģ. Do you think Ron has become a little more defensive of Hermione? Weasley trying to keep Harry, Hermione and Ron separated?
